Matthew 6:26-27

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Worries and negative thoughts plague us day and night. It becomes so much a part of our lives that we learn to live with it. Every time i am worried, I feel all alone. Worries paralyse us, causing us not to think logically. But the bible talks about what Jesus says “do not worry about tomorrow”. What was Jesus looking at when He shared this? Was He looking at the birds in the air? What references did He refer to? He said look at the birds of the air... and in the land of Israel especially Sea of Galilee, there are lots of small sparrows and most likely Jesus would have referred to a sparrow. That is where I drew my inspiration from.
