Ruach Standard Format - DIASEC Print 60cm x 60cm

When I first came across this phrase “2020-2030: The Era of the Holy Spirit”, something leapt in my spirit and I knew that God is releasing a new wave of revelation of the Holy Spirit in this decade. I wanted to do up an artwork that will remind us constantly of the power of the Holy Spirit but I found it challenging to portray this visually. 

As I studied the original Hebrew words for “Holy Spirit” which is “Ruach Hakodesh”, I learned that “Ruach” is also used to describe wind and breath. 

As I pondered on this, the image of a majestic lion with a strong wind blowing upon his mane came to mind. What a picture of our soon and coming King Yeshua who is filled with the seven-fold aspects of Holy Spirit  described in Isaiah!

Isaiah 11:2

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Today, as children of God, the same Ruach Hakodesh, the same Holy Spirit dwells in us. May we always live with the consciousness of the wisdom, might and power of God within us.
